Name change marks a new chapter for Microsoft Dynamics AX Specialist.

K3 AX is gearing up for growth as it benefits from significant investment

K3 Business Technology Group Plc (K3), the ERP and systems provider, is re-branding its Microsoft Dynamics AX business as K3 AX. Formerly known as Index Computer Systems, the company was acquired by K3 just over 12 months ago and is now gearing up for growth as it benefits from significant investment from the £40m turnover group.

Building on its considerable success in the food industry, K3 AX plans to expand its presence in others including chemical manufacturers and suppliers, and service and repair organisations. K3 AX will capitalise on its status as a member of the Microsoft Inner Circle – the highest attainable level of Microsoft partner - to gain increased access to Microsoft’s support services and the software giant’s own team of Dynamics AX experts.Both new and existing customers will benefit from K3 AX’s considerable investment in new staff and new operational systems both of which will improve project delivery and support.

Having already extended its technical resource with the addition of a number of specialist appointments, the company has enhanced its management creating a highly experienced team. Howard Joseph, who has 20 years experience with group companies, becomes Managing Director, while Bernard Godward moves into a strategic role as Chairman of K3 AX.  Martin King, one of the founding directors of Index continues in his role as Customer Services Director while William Ball, who has been with the company for 18 years, continues as Product Director. Steve Jameson has been recruited from a senior role elsewhere in K3 to the position of Operations Director. 

 “The launch of K3 AX coincides with the release of Dynamics AX 2009 and reflects the focus of the company and its ERP solutions,” explains Howard Joseph, Managing Director, K3 AX. “We plan to substantially increase turnover within the next three years as we introduce Microsoft Dynamics AX-based solutions to new vertical industry customers. This combined with a substantial investment in people and processes will ensure that we build on our position to become one of Microsoft’s leading Dynamics AX partners establishing K3 AX as a highly trusted, reliable and innovative supplier of ERP systems,” he concluded.
